Instructions
 

  • Peel the ripe banana and cut it into chunks.
  • In a blender, combine the white rum, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, banana chunks, and crushed ice.
  • Blend the mixture on high speed until smooth and creamy, ensuring that the banana is fully incorporated.
  • Taste the mixture and adjust the sweetness or acidity by adding more simple syrup or lime juice if needed.
  • Pour the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass or a hurricane glass.
  • You can garnish with a banana slice or a lime wheel on the rim of the glass.

Notes

For a frozen Banana Daiquiri, use frozen banana chunks and additional ice for a thicker texture. Adjust the simple syrup based on the sweetness of the banana used.
