Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz Bourbon or Rye Whiskey
  • 3/4 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 oz Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Cinnamon
  • Ice Cubes
  • Lemon Wheel or Cinnamon Stick for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the glass by chilling your cocktail glass with ice water while you prepare the cocktail.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the bourbon (or rye), fresh lemon juice, maple syrup, and ground cinnamon.
  • Fill the shaker with ice cubes, secure the lid, and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
  • Discard the ice water from your chilled glass. Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the mixture into the glass to remove any cinnamon clumps.
  • Garnish with a lemon wheel or a cinnamon stick for an added touch of flavor and presentation.

Notes

For a spicier kick, consider adding a dash of cayenne pepper or using cinnamon-infused whiskey. Adjust the sweetness to taste by modifying the amount of maple syrup based on your preference.
