Flaming Doctor Pepper
The Flaming Doctor Pepper is a fun and fiery shot that combines the flavors of amaretto and beer, creating a unique experience that resembles the taste of Dr. Pepper when ignited. It's a party favorite, known for its dramatic presentation and delicious taste.
Equipment
- Pint glass
- Shot glass
- Long lighter or match
Ingredients
- 1 oz Amaretto
- 4 oz Beer preferably a light lager
- 1/2 oz 151-proof Rum
Instructions
- Pour the beer into a pint glass, filling it about halfway.
- In a shot glass, carefully pour 1 oz of amaretto. This will be the base of your shot.
- Slowly layer 1/2 oz of 151-proof rum on top of the amaretto by pouring it over the back of a spoon positioned above the shot glass.
- Using a long lighter or match, carefully ignite the rum on top of the shot glass. Exercise caution while handling fire.
- Once the rum is flaming, drop the shot glass into the pint glass with beer. Drink it quickly while it's still fizzing!
