Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz White Rum
  • 3/4 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1/2 oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
  • 1/4 oz Maraschino Liqueur
  • 1/2 oz Simple Syrup optional, depending on sweetness preference
  • Garnish: Lime Wheel optional

Instructions
 

  • Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
  • Add the white rum, fresh lime juice, fresh grapefruit juice, maraschino liqueur, and simple syrup (if using) to the shaker.
  • Shake vigorously for about 10 seconds or until well chilled.
  • Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  • Garnish with a lime wheel if desired.

Notes

The Hemingway Daiquiri is traditionally served without sugar, as Hemingway preferred his drinks without extra sweetness. However, some palates may enjoy a touch of simple syrup to balance the tartness.
