Instructions
 

  • Gather all the ingredients and equipment. Ensure the heavy cream and milk are chilled for the best texture.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the coffee liqueur, heavy cream, milk, and simple syrup.
  • Fill the shaker with ice cubes and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds until well mixed and chilled.
  • Fill a tall glass or a dessert glass with crushed ice.
  • Strain the mixture from the shaker over the crushed ice in the glass, allowing it to flow gently to maintain the ice's texture.
  • If desired, sprinkle a light dusting of cocoa powder on top for added flavor and presentation.
  • Serve immediately with a straw or a spoon for sipping.

Notes

For a vegan version, substitute heavy cream and milk with coconut cream and a non-dairy milk of your choice. Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of simple syrup based on personal preference.
