  • Lime squeezer
  • Salt rimmer
  • Old Fashioned glass

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz Tequila 60 ml
  • 1 oz Fresh lime juice 30 ml
  • 1/2 oz Orange liqueur 15 ml
  • 1/2 oz Simple syrup 15 ml
  • Ice cubes
  • Salt for rimming the glass
  • Lime wheel for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Rub the rim of a chilled glass with a lime wedge and dip it in salt to coat the rim.
  • In a shaker, combine the tequila, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, and simple syrup.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake well until the outside of the shaker feels cold.
  • Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with fresh ice.
  • Garnish with a lime wheel.

Notes

For a less sweet Margarita del Sol, reduce the amount of simple syrup or adjust to taste. Freshly squeezed lime juice will provide the best flavor. Always use high-quality tequila for the best results.
