Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz Tequila (Blanco or Reposado)
  • 1 oz Fresh Grapefruit Juice
  • 1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 2 oz Grapefruit Soda or to taste
  • 1 pinch Salt optional
  • Lime wedge for garnish
  • Grapefruit slice for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Begin by filling a highball glass with ice to chill it while you prepare the cocktail.
  • In a shaker, combine the tequila, fresh grapefruit juice, and fresh lime juice. If you prefer a salted rim, rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glass and dip it into salt before filling it with ice.
  • Add ice to the shaker and shake gently for about 10-15 seconds to mix the ingredients thoroughly.
  • Strain the mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice.
  • Pour the grapefruit soda over the mixture in the glass, adjusting the amount to your taste preference.
  • Garnish with a lime wedge and a slice of grapefruit on the rim.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy your refreshing Paloma!

Notes

For a sweeter Paloma, you can add agave syrup or simple syrup to taste. Experiment with different types of grapefruit soda for unique flavor profiles.
