Ingredients
  

  • 1 1/2 oz Gin
  • 1/2 oz Applejack
  • 1/4 oz Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1-2 dashes Grenadine
  • 1 oz Egg White

Instructions
 

  • Chill a cocktail glass by placing it in the freezer or filling it with ice water and setting it aside.
  • Pour the gin, applejack, lemon juice, grenadine, and egg white into a shaker.
  • Dry shake (without ice) vigorously for about 10 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
  • Add ice to the shaker and shake again until well-chilled, usually about 15 seconds.
  • Discard the ice or water from the chilled cocktail glass.
  • Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass.

Notes

For a non-alcoholic version, substitute the gin and applejack with non-alcoholic alternatives and omit the egg white. A few drops of liquid from canned chickpeas can be used as a vegan-friendly foaming agent instead of egg white.
