- 2 oz Gin
- 1 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 oz Fresh Lime Juice
- 1 oz Heavy Cream
- 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
- 1 dash Orange Flower Water
In a cocktail shaker, add the gin, lemon juice, lime juice, heavy cream, simple syrup, and orange flower water.
Seal the shaker and shake vigorously without ice for about 10-15 seconds. This helps to emulsify the cream and create a froth.
Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake again for another 10-15 seconds until well chilled.
Double strain the mixture into a chilled highball glass or a Collins glass without ice.
Gently top off the drink with club soda to add a refreshing fizz.
Garnish with a slice of lemon or a sprig of mint if desired.
The Ramos Gin Fizz is traditionally shaken for an extended period to achieve the desired frothy texture. Orange flower water can be adjusted according to personal taste, but a little goes a long way.
For a more authentic experience, consider using a vintage-style cocktail shaker, and be patient with the shaking process for the best results.
