Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz Sotol
  • 1 oz Fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz Orange liqueur (such as Cointreau or Triple Sec)
  • 0.5 oz Agave syrup
  • Lime wheel for garnish
  • Salt for rimming the glass (optional)

Instructions
 

  • If desired, rim the glass with salt. To do this, rub a lime wedge around the rim of a chilled cocktail glass and dip it into a plate of salt. Set aside.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the sotol, fresh lime juice, orange liqueur, and agave syrup.
  • Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
  • Strain the mixture into the prepared glass. If you prefer, you can serve it over fresh ice in a rocks glass.
  • Add a lime wheel on the rim of the glass for garnish.

Notes

Feel free to adjust the sweetness by modifying the amount of agave syrup to suit your taste. The Sotol Daisy is best enjoyed fresh, so it is recommended to serve immediately after preparation.
