Tequila Cosmo
A zesty twist on the classic Cosmopolitan, the Tequila Cosmo replaces vodka with tequila, offering a vibrant blend of citrus and cranberry flavors with an agave kick.
Equipment
- Cocktail shaker
- Ice cubes
- Martini glass
- Strainer
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 oz Tequila 45 ml
- 1 oz Cranberry Juice 30 ml
- 1/2 oz Fresh Lime Juice 15 ml
- 1/2 oz Orange Liqueur 15 ml
- Lime wheel for garnish
Instructions
- Fill a shaker with ice cubes.
- Pour the tequila, cranberry juice, fresh lime juice, and orange liqueur into the shaker.
- Shake well until the outside of the shaker feels cold.
- Strain into a chilled martini glass.
- Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim of the glass.
Notes
For a smoother flavor, opt for a high-quality tequila, preferably a blanco or reposado. Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of cranberry juice or orange liqueur to taste.
