Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz Tequila (preferably Blanco)
  • 3/4 oz Fresh Lime Juice
  • 1/2 oz Simple Syrup
  • 1/2 oz Egg White (optional for texture)
  • Lime wheel or twist for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Measure out the tequila, fresh lime juice, simple syrup, and egg white if using.
  • In a cocktail shaker, combine the tequila, lime juice, simple syrup, and egg white. Shake vigorously without ice for about 15 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
  • Add ice to the shaker and shake again for another 15-20 seconds until well chilled.
  • Fine strain the mixture into a chilled coupe or rocks glass to ensure a smooth texture.
  • Add a lime wheel or twist on the rim for an elegant presentation.

Notes

The use of egg white is optional but recommended for a frothy texture. If you prefer a vegan alternative, you can use aquafaba (chickpea brine) as a substitute. Adjust the sweetness by modifying the amount of simple syrup based on your taste preference.
