Vodka Swizzle
A refreshing and tangy cocktail, the Vodka Swizzle is a delightful mix of vodka, lime juice, and a touch of sweetness, topped with a splash of soda water. It's perfect for sipping on a hot day or as a light aperitif.
Equipment
- Highball glass
- Bar spoon or swizzle stick
- Jigger
- Straw
Ingredients
- 2 oz Vodka
- 1 oz Fresh lime juice
- 1/2 oz Simple syrup
- 2-3 oz Soda water
- Crushed ice
- Lime wheel or mint sprig for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- Fill a highball glass or a Collins glass with crushed ice.
- In the glass, pour the vodka, fresh lime juice, and simple syrup over the ice.
- Use a bar spoon or swizzle stick to stir the mixture until well chilled.
- Top up with soda water.
- Swizzle again to combine all the ingredients.
- Garnish with a lime wheel or a sprig of mint, if desired.
- Serve with a straw.
Notes
For a sweeter Vodka Swizzle, adjust the simple syrup to taste. To make your own simple syrup, combine equal parts sugar and water, heat until the sugar dissolves, cool, and store in the refrigerator.
