Ingredients
  

  • 1 oz Light Rum
  • 1 oz Dark Rum
  • 1 oz Apricot Brandy
  • 1 oz Lime Juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 oz Pineapple Juice
  • 1 oz Grenadine
  • 1 oz Orange Juice
  • 1 oz Overproof Rum for float
  • Crushed Ice
  • Mint leaves for garnish
  • Orange slice for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a cocktail shaker, add the light rum, dark rum, apricot brandy, lime juice, pineapple juice, grenadine, and orange juice.
  • Fill the shaker with crushed ice, and shake vigorously for about 15 seconds until well chilled.
  • Strain the mixture into a large glass or tiki mug filled with crushed ice.
  • Carefully float the overproof rum on top by pouring it over the back of a spoon.
  • Garnish with mint leaves and an orange slice.
  • Serve with a straw and enjoy responsibly!

Notes

Adjust the sweetness by varying the amount of grenadine and fruit juices to taste. For an extra tropical touch, consider adding a dash of bitters or a splash of soda water. This cocktail is best enjoyed fresh and can be served in batches for parties.
