Ingredients
  

  • 1 piece sugar cube (4 grams / 0.14 ounces)
  • 2 dashes Peychaud's or Angostura bitters
  • 1 ounce absinthe (30 ml / 28 grams)
  • 5 ounces Champagne or sparkling wine (approximately 150 ml / 142 grams)
  • Lemon twist for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Place the sugar cube at the bottom of a champagne flute.
  • Splash the sugar cube with 2 dashes of bitters.
  • Pour the absinthe over the sugar cube.
  • Top the glass with chilled champagne or sparkling wine until full.
  • Garnish with a twist of lemon zest.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy responsibly.

Notes
