Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 2 oz Gin
  • 3-6 dashes Angostura bitters
  • Ice cubes optional

Instructions
 

  • Chill a martini glass or a small tumbler in the freezer or by filling it with ice water and setting it aside for a few minutes.
  • Pour the gin into the chilled glass.
  • Add the Angostura bitters directly to the gin, swirling the glass to fully integrate the bitters and coat the inside of the glass.
  • If preferred, add a few ice cubes to the glass.
  • Swirl the mixture gently to chill and combine the flavors.
  • Strain into the chilled glass if ice was used during mixing.

Notes

Pink Gin was traditionally used as a maritime remedy for seasickness. Today, it's enjoyed for its crisp, palate-cleansing properties, making it perfect as an aperitif.
