  • 1 oz Sweet Vermouth

Instructions
 

  • Chill a coupe or cocktail glass by filling it with ice water while preparing the cocktail.
  • In a mixing glass, combine the aged rum, sweet vermouth, maraschino liqueur, and orange bitters.
  • Fill the mixing glass with ice cubes to cool the mixture thoroughly.
  • Stir the mixture gently for about 30 seconds to chill and dilute the cocktail.
  • Empty the ice water from the chilled glass and strain the cocktail into the glass using a fine mesh strainer.
  • Express the oils from a lemon twist over the drink and place it in the glass as a garnish.
