Ingredients
  

Main Ingredients

  • 2 oz Sake
  • 1 oz Fresh lime juice
  • 2 tsp Simple syrup
  • 6-8 Fresh mint leaves
  • Splash of sparkling water
  • Ice cubes

Garnish

  • Mint sprig for garnish
  • Lime wheel for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a highball glass, gently muddle the mint leaves with the simple syrup and lime juice to release the mint's essential oils.
  • Fill the glass with ice cubes.
  • Pour the sake over the ice.
  • Top with a splash of sparkling water.
  • Stir well to mix the ingredients together.
  • Garnish with a sprig of mint and a lime wheel on the rim of the glass.

Notes

To make simple syrup, combine equal parts sugar and water in a saucepan, bring to a boil, and stir until the sugar is dissolved. Cool before using. Adjust the sweetness of the cocktail to your preference by varying the amount of simple syrup.
