  • 5 oz Red Wine preferably a young Spanish red like Tempranillo
  • 3 oz Casera lemon soda
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices for garnish
  • splash Vermouth or gin optional for added complexity

Instructions
 

  • Start by filling a large wine glass or tumbler with ice cubes to chill the drink.
  • Pour 5 oz (150 ml) of red wine over the ice, filling the glass about two-thirds full.
  • Add 3 oz (90 ml) of Casera (lemon soda) to the glass, allowing the two ingredients to mix gently.
  • Add a couple of lemon slices to the drink for a refreshing touch and extra flavor.
  • If desired, add a splash of vermouth or gin to enhance the complexity of the drink.
  • Stir gently and serve immediately, enjoying the refreshing taste of summer.
