Vodka Ramos Gin Fizz

A twist on the classic Ramos Gin Fizz, this cocktail substitutes gin with vodka for a smoother, less botanical flavor. It maintains the creamy and frothy texture that the original is known for.

  • Dry shake (without ice) vigorously for about 30 seconds to emulsify the egg white.
  • Add ice to the shaker and shake again vigorously for about 1 minute to chill and further aerate the mixture.
  • Strain into a tall Collins glass without ice.
  • Top with club soda to create a frothy head, pouring it gently over the back of a spoon to help it layer on top.

Notes

The Ramos Gin Fizz is known for its long shaking time to create the characteristic froth. While this version uses vodka, the shaking technique remains the same. For best results, shake until the shaker becomes frosty and your arms are tired.
